Oh my friends. I can’t begin to tell you how lovely it was to stop by and visit your blogs this week and last. I loved having the chance to check out your blogs and see what you’re all about. Wednesday’s Wowzers: All About Gift Wrap!

Happy, merry Christmas season!

Like most of you, this week I am busy baking, shopping, running errands, cooking, and {almost} gift wrapping. Time is short, but I find myself still running to Pinterest for last-minute inspiration! So today’s edition of Wednesday’s Wowzers is dedicated to gift wrap ideas. So if you’re like me and have gift wrap on your mind, you might just find yourself inspired to try something new!

Wednesday’s Wowzers

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!

(I’ve been listening to that Andy Williams Christmas tune all week long!)

It is the most wonderful time of the year, but Little Man has been so sick that we really haven’t left the house in the last week. The frigid temperatures have encouraged us to stay inside even longer. I tell ya… I’ve never been so anxious for my Little Man to feel like himself again! I’ve decided that dealing with a sick toddler must be similar to dealing with a teenager. Mr. Oopsey Daisy and I have been learning all kinds of new tricks and distraction methods for administering medicine.

But our decorations are up, and we are definitely enjoying our advents here in our home! Little Man loves beginning each morning with our book advent. Our Santa’s beard is growing day by day, and we have plenty of other fun traditions keeping us busy here at home! I love watching the magic of Christmas unfold for Little Man… this is such a fun age!

I adore these printable gift bags from 30 Days! Aren’t they lovely? And the bakers twine is the perfect touch!

I love seeing projects that emphasize the real meaning of Christmas… you know, putting the Christ back in Christmas! So I love that Kojo Designs created these 25 names of Jesus and used them as an advent… I would love to include this in our Christmas advent traditions somehow! Great idea!

I’ve always loved stars this time of year. I am in awe of this amazing “Wise Men Still Seek Him” sign from Laura at Corner House.

If I had a little girl, I would be sewing one of these lace Christmas tree shirts. Right. Now. Go check out vixenMade for the tutorial… I adore this!

Wednesday’s Wowzers: A bit of everything!

It’s Wednesday!

So you know what that means… right??

It’s time to be wowed!

There are so many incredible Halloween/fall projects floating around right now! I easily could have dedicated this entire post to all things Halloween, but one of the things I love about my wowzers is a bit of variety! I try to include all sorts of different projects that I love! So here ‘s a little bit of everything!

This batty table runner from Miss Lovie is so festive! I am loving Allie’s Creepy Crafty Halloween series going on NOW! Be sure to check it out!

My sweet friend Kirstin at Kojo Designs is hosting a darling pretty parties series right now. This girl knows how to throw a party!! So I am loving all of her ideas! I’ve seen torn fabric garlands floating around Pinterest, so I love this step-by-step tutorial! This is gorgeous and could easily fit any occasion!

Lil’ Luna… Oh how I love Lil’ Luna! I love Kristyn’s “Save the Date’ vintage Halloween sign. So stinkin’ cute!

How cute is this DIY chevron memo chalk board?! I love the colors, love everything! The clothespins holding the pictures is just plain darling. Whipperberry is so clever!

I love simple, stunning decor like Shanty 2 Chic’s white pumpkins and pine cones. I think I could pull off something like this!

I don’t know if I can go a week without finding a pillow that I love! This week I’m loving Sweet C’s Designs‘ Pocket Pillows. Courtney made these cute pocket pillows from her husband’s old button-up shirts. Great idea!

There are tons of great ideas here at this dessert table. There are lots of fun ways to spruce up your Halloween party at Shindig Parties.

Last up. This printable sign is PERFECT for Halloween night when you run out of candy! What a fun way to let people know you’re done for the night. I stumbled upon this cute printable on Anything But Perfect.

Wednesday’s Wowzers

Fall is definitely in the air around blogging land. There are so many inspiring projects, and I want to do them all–if only there were more hours in the day! Right now we are swimming in tissues and struggling to keep up with our busy lives. What is it about the changing seasons that always seems to make us sick?!

And although we are ALL sick, somehow Mr. Oopsey Daisy seems to be taking it the hardest. Somehow when he is under the weather, he seems to act just like my toddler. ?

Here are a few of my top picks of the week:

Tasha’s fabric pumpkins are so stinkin’ cute! I love how deliciously plump they are–and the raffia bow is the perfect touch! Go stop by The Creation Corner to find out how to make your own.

I can’t get enough pillow ideas! This fall pillow from Pickup Some Creativity is so bright, colorful, and cheery!

Here’s a great idea: Make a Halloween tree! And not just ANY Halloween tree–a Pottery Barn Knockoff Halloween tree! Kiki Creates is the genius behind this. (Love that Chevron table too, by the way!)

My sweet friend Amy from Positively Splendid is busy preparing for a sweet babe to arrive. I am loving watching her baby’s nursery get organized! I love the transformation of this dresser! Don’t you love the gray? And those vinyl embellishments? Perfect!

I am constantly amazed at the creative wreaths I see around blogging land! And this pencil and cork wreath just screams school! And of course it would be perfect for an office! Stop by Organize & Decorate Everything for the details.

This pumpkin toss game from A Little Tipsy is genius! And frugal! And simple! I know Little Man would love this.

I think that this chocolate spider web cake in a jar looks both scary and scrumptious! How fun for a Halloween party! Get the recipe at I Am Baker.

Last up today: I am totally smitten with this fall leaf garland. I have plenty of felt that would be perfect for this project. You’ve got to see the tutorial over at A Beautiful Mess.

Wednesday’s Wowzers: Unusually Good

Hello, my friends!! What are you up to this week??

Tomorrow is my husband’s birthday, and I am in the final stages of birthday planning. My husband is one of those tricky people who will never admit what he really needs or wants. He buys whatever he needs all on his own. But we have a few tricks up our sleeve. Little Man has been my little secret agent helper–if only he knew how to keep a secret!

I am unusually excited about my Wednesday’s Wowzers today…

Here’s some eye candy for ya! How about flowers in mason jars hanging on a clothes line?? Gorgeous! You can see more at Not Just a Housewife.

I have always wanted to make my own play kitchen, and this kitchen is amazing! I just love Shanty 2 Chic. They know how to cutesify everything!

I could think of lots of ways to use this fun Jar of Fun. I want a jar just like this! I could think of millions of ways to use it. You have to visit The Daily Digi to get tons of fun ideas to put in this jar of fun, too!

I had no idea that you could create ruffles with leather! Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous always amazes me! Don’t you love this ruffled soda can cozy?!

Alright Mommy School fans. Do you love fun and useful printables as much as I do? Lawteedah has created these amazing alphabet tracing pages. I can’t wait to print them out!

Just Sew Sassy, my mouth is watering! These Dulce de Leche peanut butter cookies look scrumptious! I can’t wait to try them!

This paper cone wreath absolutely blows my mind. I have no doubt it required a lot of time and patience, but it definitely paid off! Love this, Corner House!

Wednesday’s Wowzers: Crafting Motivation?!

Happy Wednesday, my friends!

I’m going to borrow Little Man’s new favorite phrase and say, Hey guys, what are you up to? This summer is already flying by. I am struggling with finding crafting motivation because we are just having way too much fun! Our summer is jampacked with vacations, weddings, family reunions, and fun. But I’m hoping to have some more creative time very, very soon!

I LOVE re-purposing items. That’s why I’m loving Lil Blue Boo‘s tutorial and download for a vinyl tablecloth roll-up diaper changer.

Hello friends! How is your week going?

Are you recovered from your Fourth of July weekend yet? I am still sleepy from staying up way too late from all of our own fireworks festivities–plus being woken up from my neighbors’ late-night craziness too! Plus I think I ate twice my own weight from a series of yummy bar-be-cues. Every scrumptious bite was worth it, though!
