Simple Clip-On Earring Tutorial {Titus 2 Work in Progress}

Hello my friends!  I am super excited to share Kristen from Titus 2 Work in Progress with you today.  Kristen is one of the sweetest bloggers I know, and I have had my eye on her from the beginning!  I absolutely love her ideas!
I am so excited to be sharing today at Oopsey Daisy. As you all know, Alison is so sweet, and Oopsey Daisy is one of the very first blogs I started following. Thank you for having me, Alison! My name is Kristen and I blog over at Titus 2 Work in Progress. I am a Christian wife and mommy busy crafting, cooking and living out Titus 2:3-5. Loving my family and being a homemaker are two of my greatest joys, but I am definitely a work in progress!

Anyone else living with a three year old princess? Or is that just me? Either way, my little princess loves all things dress-up and I decided to make my little lady some clip-on earrings. These were very simple to make and inexpensive.

Here's what I used:

  • Clip-on earring backs purchased at Hobby Lobby (print a 40% off coupon from their website before you go!)
  • Embellishments or charms. I used a leftover strand of pearls I had on hand and some ceramic cabochon charms (you can find a great selection on Etsy)
  • Hot glue gun

I simply used my hot glue gun to adhere different embellishments to the clip-on earring backs. I would suggest testing out the earring backs before gluing, as I found there were a few duds in the pack I purchased.

Here's how the pearl clusters turned out:

And my personal favorites are the blue rose set:

Isn't she wonderful?!  Here are some more fabulous ideas from Titus 2 Work in Progress:
