Santa Tags & Toppers {Aleene’s Dry Adhesives}

Ho ho ho and Happy Friday!

There are only 16 days left until Christmas, so let the gift wrapping and party throwing begin!

I decided to get in Christmas mode by creating some Santa Claus tags and toppers!

I am not the best paper crafter.  Let's begin there.

But this time, I was armed with some brand new tools to assist me in my paper crafting...

Recently, I was selected to review Aleene's new line of dry adhesives.

I kind of feel like these products were created for me and all of my oopseys!  Their products are mess-free, and lucky for me, you can use them without leaving fingerprints!  (Leaving messy fingerprints seems to be my Oopsey trademark!)  These adhesives don't leave lines and you don't have to wait for them to dry because they're not wet!

Aleene's carries a tape runner, tacky sticker sheets, and tacky dot and line rolls.

First off, I created this Santa stuck in the chimney silhouette in Photoshop.

Using my Cricut and Sure Cuts a Lot software, I cut out the boots on black cardsotck; the legs on red cardstock; the snow and fur on white cardstock.

Then it was time to put Aleene's adhesives to the test!  I decided to make some tags and toppers!

To create a gift tag, you will need:

1 sheet of cardstock (I used white), about 5x7

1 smaller piece of patterned paper, about 4x6

1 To/From tag, about 2x3.5 (If you would like to print your own To/From tags, just click here.)

Santa pieces:  Boots, legs, fur, and snow

I put everything together using the adhesives!

Using the circle adhesives couldn't be any easier!  They come on a roll, so I just unrolled them and pressed a dot on each corner.  These dots are small but powerful!

To build each piece of the Santa, I used the adhesive lines.  They worked the same way except I cut a little section, pressed it on the paper, and then peeled off the backing.  SO simple.

I just layered all of the Santa parts together and DONE!

First the snow, then the legs, then the fur, and then the boots!

I created about 10 of these in no time at all...I can't wait to add them to our family's gifts!

I also cut out several scallop shapes and used a couple more for tags and toppers...

I am loving these!

Who can't look at Santa stuck in a chimney without smiling?!
