It’s Mommy School time!!
I realize that summer is a busy, hectic time. To be honest, I haven’t kept up my Mommy School routine. We are having way too much fun living it up this summer! But I have been wanting to do some Mommy School for the Fourth of July to teach Little Man about our great nation. Yes, it’s a bit late… but I consider the entire month of July to be a patriotic time! So hopefully some of you are in the same boat and can still use this packet! (If not, pack it away for next year!)

Here are some of the concepts covered in this 46-page packet:
Letter of the Week: U
Number of the Week: 9
Shape of the Week: Star
Song of the Week: Yankee Doodle
Theme of the Week: America/Patriotic
Here are a few teasers of what you can find in this packet…
2 pages of fun patriotic songs!
Star ABC’s to use as flashcards or games
Patriotic action cards… these always seem to be a favorite! ?
“U is for…” coloring page/letter tracing
American symbols cards for playing match.
And of course much, much more!!

Oh, these always make me so happy!! Thanks Alison, you’re amazing!
Wow Alison! Home run. Another spectacular packet. I am thoroughly impressed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing these amazing packets. Have a great summer!
What a wonderful pack! I especially love the songs and finger plays, action cards, and symbols of America cards. The symbols of America cards can be cut into Montessori 3-part cards – awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely work! I featured your post at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/LivingMontessoriNow.
Thanks!! You rock!!
Sooo, you’ll probably laugh when I say this, but I got so excited when I saw I had a comment from you! I have ran across your blog a handful of times before I started blogging not so long ago and when I saw Oopsey Daisey left a comment, I was so excited! You have so many followers and it is super fun to know you look at tiny little blogs like mine!! Thanks for the sweet comment on my watermelon cake pops post!
I just stumbled across your website through U Create, and honestly I am IN LOVE with your mommy school packets! My oldest will be turning 3 in two months, and she’s smart as a whip and I have really been thinking that I need to expand our learning past the Leap Frog fridge alphabet! This is a really great jumping off point for me, thank so SO much for putting these out! It’s a WONDERFUL idea!
I love your packets!! Thank you for sharing them. I do have a question. Do you have any recommendations on how to print them? Do you just use your at home printer or do you take it somewhere to get printed? I am new at this and just need a few tips. Thanks again!
This is wonderful!!! Thanks Alison!
Thanks for sharing. For some reason when I try to push the download here button it is not connecting to anything. Is it linked?
THANK YOU! You do such an amazing and wonderful job with these packets. I am really excited about the American Symbols matching game. My kiddo’s will love this. I also love all the fun and neat idea’s you have on your blog! Thank you for sharing!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Mommy School packets. THANK YOU! I would also really love to see a post all about how you organize everything Mommy School at your house. I have all the things I’ve printed out in binders but there has to be a better way. It would be even cooler to see how everyone that prints out Mommy School ideas has decided to store theirs. I don’t know if that’s possible or not because I’m not that computer savvy. But it would make for a cool contest. I’ve just been thinking that lately. ?
My son loved the flag song to the tune of Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Luckily we stil had our mini flags hanging around and we marched around holding our flags up high ? He’s been running around with that flag for the past couple weeks wanting to sing the song. Thanks!
Can I just say how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE your mommy school packets? Thanks sooo much for putting them together & sharing them!! So question for you……is there a trick to getting the U packet to download? There doesn’t seem to be a link……….looks like yet another wonderful packet I’d love to be able to use! Thanks so much!
(Found you through Pinterest) THANK YOU for sharing! At my school, next week is Patriot Week and we are hosting a breakfast for veterans. This packet will be very useful with my kindergartners. ?

Alison, I cannot thank you enough for your preschool mommy pack. This one knocked the other ones I downloaded completely out of the water. So creative and you gave me so many good ideas! I featured links to your blog and pictures of the printables in action here on my site: http://beautifulinhistime.com/2013/07/08/patriotic-preschool-unit-for-the-4th-of-july/

Hi I love the U is for U.S.A pack but when I tried to download it, it would not work for me. My virus protection actually came up and said there was a virus and removed it. Can you send it to me in an email please. Thank you.
