Peanut Butter and Jelly Valentine {Easy Peasy Valentines}

I don't know about you, but I'm having a difficult time getting my creative juices flowing again since the holidays.  I have been organizing every square inch of my house--except for my craft room!  I need to get my craft on again!  This year, my mantra is "SIMPLIFY!"  My brain seems to handle simple things well.

But I also need something fun to look forward to!

So welcome to my Valentine's Day series, "Easy Peasy Valentines."

Each and every Friday, I will be sharing a quick-and-easy homemade valentine idea.  All ideas will be cheap. And all ideas will be easy.  Today's valentine is print-and-go!

Little Man will be handing these out to his friends in his Boys Club.

Today's valentine costs less than a $1, and what child doesn't love peanut butter and jelly?!  We eat it for dinner almost every night when Mr. oopsey daisy is out of town.  It's a classic.

What?!  You don't think of peanut butter and jelly as romantic?!

Maybe this can get you in the mood...

So here is how you can create your own easy peasy peanut-butter-and-jelly valentine:

I purchased this box of frozen peanut butter and jelly uncrustable sandwiches at Wal-Mart.

It was a box of 4 for $2.93.  So each sandwich was less than a $1.  Not bad!

(Because they are meant to be kept frozen, we will give these out last minute!)

I created this image in Photoshop.  You can download this here if you wish to create your own.

Santa Tags & Toppers {Aleene’s Dry Adhesives}

Ho ho ho and Happy Friday!

There are only 16 days left until Christmas, so let the gift wrapping and party throwing begin!

I decided to get in Christmas mode by creating some Santa Claus tags and toppers!

I am not the best paper crafter.  Let's begin there.

But this time, I was armed with some brand new tools to assist me in my paper crafting...

Recently, I was selected to review Aleene's new line of dry adhesives.

I kind of feel like these products were created for me and all of my oopseys!  Their products are mess-free, and lucky for me, you can use them without leaving fingerprints!  (Leaving messy fingerprints seems to be my Oopsey trademark!)  These adhesives don't leave lines and you don't have to wait for them to dry because they're not wet!

Aleene's carries a tape runner, tacky sticker sheets, and tacky dot and line rolls.

First off, I created this Santa stuck in the chimney silhouette in Photoshop.

Using my Cricut and Sure Cuts a Lot software, I cut out the boots on black cardsotck; the legs on red cardstock; the snow and fur on white cardstock.

Then it was time to put Aleene's adhesives to the test!  I decided to make some tags and toppers!

To create a gift tag, you will need:

1 sheet of cardstock (I used white), about 5x7

1 smaller piece of patterned paper, about 4x6

1 To/From tag, about 2x3.5 (If you would like to print your own To/From tags, just click here.)

Santa pieces:  Boots, legs, fur, and snow
