Craft Package Giveaway {The Plaid Barn} – CLOSED

This giveaway is now closed.  Congratulations to our 2 winners, Kari (#51) and Katie (#13)!

Hey friends!  Happy Thursday!

Thanks so much to those who tuned in for What 'cha Cooking Wednesday on the oopsey Facebook page yesterday!  I got some fabulous menu ideas.  It really was pure torture when I realized I hadn't eaten all day.  Hearing what you were cooking up was killing me!  My mouth was watering for about 2 hours!

Today's giveaway is fan-freakin-tastic!  Have you heard of The Plaid Barn?

The Plaid Barn is a lovely daily deals site for beautiful items. Every deal I have seen is at least 50% off, and some up to 70% off!  Every morning you can check out a brand new deal, but you have to hurry before supplies run out!  I signed up for their daily newsletter so I can see the daily deals just as soon as I wake up!  You can also connect with The Plaid Barn via FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest.

Yesterday's hot deal was all about washi tape! Each washi tape roll was sold at 54% off with a very small shipping fee.  Don't you love those polkadots?! So fun for spring!

This custom ring kit was 60% off!  I want one!

I adore the chevron in this spring packaging kit! This kit was 53% off and quickly sold out.

Now for the giveaway!

Two of you will be winning this incredible prize package from The Plaid Barn!

    • Crafts, Creations, Homemade gifts or treasures…..it is a bit more then a hobbie for me. Its my go to, my exscape from the everyday life. I have always been around crafts, dyi, my own creations. I resently started taking a craft/card making class at a local church. It has rebonded my mom & I !! There is just something that draws me to makeing crafts, cards, finding new ideas, all of it. If I could support my family off of crafting….well I would. I am very interested in seeing the newsletter, discounts, & visting your site again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the moment, Have a awsome day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • I teach a “Read From the Start” program through the Missouri Humanities Council to parents/grandparents of young children. One of the things they teach is to not only read a book to a child, but make that a whole experience, which involves doing supplemental activities that will help them learn AND associate reading with you as a bonding/fun experience. It’s something I believe everyone needs to realize. In the class, we usually pick out some activities to teach and do with them. I would probably use these crafts for a class- during one of my favorite activities: making their own book. I usually get cheap Dollar Store supplies so we can throw together a book with paper and markers, but it would be awesome to have adorable supplies like this so they could make a lasting memory book to share with their child!

  2. I would definately make headbands from the FOE and buttons.

    • I would use the buttons…for card making, border a picture, braclet. make head bands, necklace, bracelets, match pices of jewerly! make button flowers on tags to use on gifts.

  4. Rosemary says:

I still love to scrapbook and I can see several of these items that would help to make some very interesting pages – always love buttons, the library cards have some real potential, lots of uses for stickers, and even the cording could really dress up a page!

Let me start out by saying what an amazing site with a great title. You very crafty my friend….. enjoyed your pics. I kind of accidently stumbled on your site. I am so happy I diid. You have a lot of great content and you’re having a giveaway. I too am crafty by nature. We just started homeschooling a few months ago, as part of our curriculum we are lapbooking and notebooking, this giveaway package would be really awesome to add to our supplies for embellishing and decorating our file folders. As yousee by my email address, we are a school of the arts. My dd is very artistic and crafty too, so we would both enjoy this prize. I also make jewelry and the buttons would be excellent fo these rings I make for fundraising, the proceeds go to a 501c charity. Our school of the arts is not only for my dd’s artistic gifts, she plays violin and Irish Tin Whistle, and she is a serious Irish dance competitor. Well hoping you are well…. I also sent out your link to all my twitter friends.
    God Bless,
    Kimmie

OMG!! I could totally use all of these items:
the 25 colorful buttons would be used for the pony-oh’s that I make for my daughters and to sell…the 27 round kraft paper stickers and the 15 old school library cards would be used towards scrapbooking for sure…the 25 parcel tags in the brilliant colors would be used as gift bag tags (i usually get plain white or brown sacks and dress them up myself so these would be perfect), 4 yards of faux suede cording would probably go towards book marks that I make myself (sometimes from color swatches)…I would even let my daughter have the muslin bag to take her money for school or store her jewelry during P.E.

  213. I signed up for the newsletter and am so excited to start shopping! How fun!

  214. I would definitely make some fun little cards for my daughters friends for Easter!

  215. the library cards make me think about I always used them for book marks.. so bookmarks for all the readers in my family! I would write quotes from favorite authors on the cards decorate a tag with their name and a cabochon and use the elastic to make a loop that will keep the bookmark in when packing around the book (we take our books everywhere and bookmarks fall out a lot… so no more bending corners!)

  222. Oh this is so meant to be! I found out about Plaid Barn from my Mom just at the time of this giveaway. My Mom is elderly and I’ll and lives with me for care. She thought she ordered this for me as a thank you, but because of all the medication she is on, she didn’t complete the order. By the time she showed me, the deal was over. I was sad, but I certainly understood and appreciated the thought. Since then, I have joined Plaid Barn and ordered some of the other deals since, but I never forgot this one! I am working with mixed media art and taking a Brave Girls course and I would use the items in this kit for my journal pages, as well as some of them for gifts for others. I am working on a perpetual gratitude drawer that those old library cards would work perfectly for! I happened to type Plaid Barn in as a search and found your website and this giveaway. I am signed up for your newsletter and feel it was meant to be to find your site and this giveaway! Thank you for considering my entry!

  223. Okay, sorry to comment twice, but I just tweeted as well. So I did all three entries! Wish me luck!
