Have you heard of Cut it Out?
Cut it Out is a fantastic shop that offers decorative wood cutouts. You can find wooden alphabet, numbers & symbols, seasonal/holiday decor, or even create your own custom order!! But my favorite part of Cut it Out is their unfinished wooden frames! Cut it Out offers frames in a variety of sizes from 4 x 6 to 20 x 30!
I had my eye on these frames for a while, and I was thrilled to review some frames for myself! I love that the frames came unfinished so that I could customize them. The unique shapes are so much fun!
Because I've been up to my eyeballs in birthday parties, I decided that these frames would make their debut at Little Man's birthday! I am anxious to finally share all the details of the Mickey Mouse birthday party with you tomorrow. It has taken me all week to edit the pictures! (Have I mentioned that I take WAY too many pictures?!) I have just a few sneak peeks to share with you today.
I selected these lovely 8x10 Balboa frames. Don't you love the shape? As a crafter, seeing this unfinished wood just staring at me was quite exciting! Ohhh the possibilities! And you can't beat the price on these quality frames!
I gave each frame a coat of red spray paint. (This took some planning and coordinating with the weatherman considering our cold winter days here in Colorado!) I added some glass and propped them up on easels on my "un-mantle"!
I taped little Mickey ears on every single picture of Little Man!
This really set the tone for our Mickey party--these were the first thing our guests spotted when they walked in the door! Enough teasers. The party in detail is coming to the blog tomorrow!
