Boys Club Halloween Party

On Wednesday, we celebrated Halloween with Little Man's Boys Club.  We have a really fun group of boys--all who live within 5 minutes of our house.  Besides going to church together, these boys will all be in the same grade at school. Every Wednesday, we rotate houses, and the boys play together.  This has been SO good for Little Man to learn social skills and have a group of friends he feels comfortable with.

I have always wanted to throw a Halloween party, so this was the perfect opportunity!  We had such a great time with these cute boys.  Of course I took too many pictures, and I can't narrow down my favorites, so bring on the photo overload:

We drew some faces on thsee balloons to make them look like jack-o-lanterns, tied them to some baby jars full of candy corn, and created some easy centerpieces!  Each boy took home a balloon as a favor at the end of the party.

I used some happy polk-a-dot wrapping paper as a table runner...

Little Man picked out some Halloween fabric at JoAnn's, and I sewed 4 easy chair covers for our chairs.

This adds such a festive touch--I think I'll do the same for every holiday!

Sweet hubby got up early to pick up some orange helium balloons. Thanks babe! 🙂

Each boy had a chalkboard bat with his name written on it for their place setting.

Before eating lunch, they created jack-o-lantern faces with orange paper plates and sticky foam.

As the boys arrived, they played with ghost balloons.

We did a bit of bowling...

Our paper plate jack-o-lanterns turned out darling!

Pin the bow tie on Mr. Bones was one of our favorites!

We tried to toss candy corn in the cauldrons in this "Witch's Pitch" game.

(We had a couple of boys who couldn't stop eating candy corn!)

What's a party without playing Bingo?!

We played toss the spider on the spider web, too using our spider bean bag.

As I was getting lunch ready, the boys hunted for skeleton bones!  (Yes, these are dog bones spray painted white!)
They collected them and made towers with them.

The person who found the orange bone won a special treat.

Even Mr. Oopsey Daisy wanted in on this yummy food...

Mummy dogs, apple mouths, ghost string cheese, and Ritz spiders.

I added a bit of vinyl to turn the milk bottles into ghosts!

Little Man could hardly wait for his friends to eat monster cupcakes with him!

Remember these from our monster playdate?  We just added some "Boo" and "Eek" toppers as a spooky touch.

Little Man has some cute friends!  Even though we woke up to close to a foot of snow, everyone arrived in costume!

Little Man is Buzz Lightyear.... To infinity and beyond!

All the boys looked so cute!  We had Batman, a monkey, a biker, and a dinosaur.

As if we didn't sugar them up enough, we also sent the boys home with a treat bag...

It doesn't get much simpler than a brown paper bag!

We jampacked these bags with lots of fun treats.

Here are some of our favorites:

A ghost sucker, Cheetos, and a jack-o-lantern Oreo pop.

Everyone had a great time!

I can't wait for these cute boys to come back and play soon!

I was totally and completely inspired by this party from The Smith family.  I used tons of ideas from food to decor to games!  You must check out this party!

I saw some fun games here at Pure Joy Events.

A tutorial for the Witch's Pitch game is found here at Chic and Jo.
