No, I'm not slacking.... although I haven't posted about a lot of new projects lately.
Remember when I posted about my goal of creating a quiet book??? Well, I found muslin on sale at Joann's, and I knew it was meant to be. So I have been busy working on my quiet book. I am trying to do 24 pages total (12 front and back), so progress is slow and steady.
Here is a sampling of just two of the pages. The first page will be a stoplight with velcro to remove the red, yellow, and green lights. And next to it, I made a road page. I still need to sew a little pocket for one of my son's matchbox cars. I am excited about the progress I've been making, even if it will be a few more months before I'm totally finished.
You can check out some fabulous ideas for quiet books here in my post a month or so back.

Cute! Can't wait to see the finished project! I am still working up the courage to make mine…
So creative and cute, cute, cute! I love crafty sewing people. I struggled to fix a hole in a stuffed aninmal the other day.
Thanks for the sweet comment on my playhouse! I will be back to see it done.
Your quiet book is awesome! I just wanted to share my sunshine awards with you…http://craftingreallyawesomefreethings.blogspot.com/2010/04/sushine-award.html
Thank you again…That was super fun!
These pages look fantastic! A quiet book has been on my list of projects for awhile now – I'm adding that adorable little road to my list of page ideas! Thanks for sharing 🙂
